Serving our community
Doing good by giving back
TradeStation Cares
Giving back to our community is a priority for TradeStation. In 2007, our efforts were formalized with the creation of TradeStation Cares — an employee-led initiative that focuses on helping those in need in and around our community by partnering with local organizations and charities. Throughout the year, team members work together to identify and select various causes to support.
Miami Bull
In April 2022, to help the South Florida region achieve its vision of becoming the world capital of the next generation in finance, Miami mayor Francis Suarez unveiled The Miami Bull, a project commissioned by TradeStation. This one-of-a-kind collaboration is meant to create a prominent community symbol of modern finance. The purpose of The Miami Bull’s permanent home at Miami Dade College, the largest community college in the United States, goes hand-in-hand with our partnership to build skills and knowledge to increase the financial literacy of our younger generation. Additionally, TradeStation donates funds which students can use to trade. Any profits generated from this activity are donated to the college’s foundation.
How We Give Back
With a bottom-up, employee-driven approach, we engage employees from across our locations to raise money and volunteer for causes that are important to them.
Our current areas of focus include disaster relief, economic hardships, and food and health.
TradeStation also sponsors events (including golf tournaments, happy hours and 5K runs) for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (as this Philadelphia-based charity expands its fundraising efforts into South Florida) to help fund research for better treatments for childhood cancer and to help families who are dealing with this disease.
TradeStation is also a corporate sponsor of the Florida Securities Dealers Association, whose mission is to advocate on behalf of the industry and to provide education opportunities for its members and the Florida investing public.
We are proactively working to progress our efforts within our communities, including involving more employees and tracking our impact more closely.
“TradeStation employees have heart and a deep care for their communities, and it shows whether through their volunteering or rising to the occasion on donations.”
